Clear out your calendar for April 26 because the third annual 101 Tastes of Istanbul Festival is coming to the splendid Sait Halim Paşa mansion by the Bosphorus.
It’s all about the food, and this year marks the third installment of Time Out Istanbul’s 101 Tastes of Istanbul festival. If you’ve heard about a certain restaurant from a friend or someone’s been goading you to try a certain dish, and you haven’t been able to, the upcoming festival is the perfect way to make good on those suggestions.
There will be powerhouses of Istanbul’s culinary scene and smaller, but just as qualified, names in equal measure. The selection is as wide-ranging as it is delicious, and vendors will be placed both inside and outside Sait Halim Paşa Yalısı, a massive waterfront complex with a historic mansion that will provide ample space for all the delicacies.
While you’re sampling some food and sipping from a cocktail, enjoy the live music of Funk Efendi, and if you need time to digest, there’ll be culinary workshops to pass the time until you’re hungry again.
All told, 101 Tastes of Istanbul is gearing up to be the best one yet. We’d recommend sampling as much as you can because where else are you going to see this much food in one place?
